Countdown to Christmas

With less than a week to go until we celebrate Christmas, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of last-minute shopping, food preparations and the general mayhem that accompanies these last few days before the 25th.  Don't forget to take the time out of all the 'busy-ness' to take a step back to pray, and to reflect on Christ's coming both 2000 years ago and every time we celebrate the Eucharist.

Please take note of the Christmas schedule that you can find on the main page of the website.  Not only is Christmas a holy day of obligation, but it is fortunate that it falls on a Sunday as well, so that our Sunday obligation will be fulfilled as well.  However, the Mass schedule is slightly different for both Christmas and New Year's Day (Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God).  In addition,  please feel free to join us for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist over the next few days either at 9am or at the EARLIER Mass at 5:30am (no, that's not a typo).  The 5:30am Masses are part of a Novena that runs from December 16-24 (inclusive).

In website update news, photos have been uploaded from both the Altar Servers' Advent/Christmas Potluck and the Parish Christmas Concert.  Please feel free to take a look in the gallery section of the website.  The concert was an amazing display of the hard work and talent of so many of our parishioners.  Hopefully you enjoy reminiscing through the photos, or get a glimpse of the wide array of people who made that afternoon a resounding success.

May these last few days of Advent be a blessing to you and all your loved ones.
